Since 1980 Alaska Police and Fire Chaplains have been there to help first responders and their families, victims, and survivors during some of the most traumatic events in their lives. They do this as volunteers, around the clock, regardless of the weather. In 2020 one vehicle caught fire and a second (1991 Impala) was placed in restricted service, as a result 2 new vehicles were financed through Kendall Ford. We want to pay at least one of them off so we can stay focused on "Serving Those Who Serve"

If you wonder how they'd be used, last year - while COVID-19 stopped most activities - the Chaplains were still busy. During 2020 they logged:

209 Callouts 90 Community Events 104 Police and Fire Interactions 18 Funeral or Memorial Services 208 Hospital Visits
